- LMHC - Primary Therapist (Dual State Licensed FL)
- Nevada
Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from different backgrounds in various settings including community mental health centers, juvenile justice programs, and psychiatric hospitals. I truly enjoy connecting with others in an authentic way and forming genuine relationships with my clients rooted in trust and acceptance. I believe our relationships (past and present) play a significant role in shaping how we see ourselves and how we navigate our day-to-day lives. Therefore, I place the utmost importance on the relationships that I develop with my clients in order to utilize this as the foundation of our work together. My clients have described my therapeutic style as casual, non-judgmental, and encouraging. I appreciate the strength in my client’s vulnerability and feel privileged to walk alongside them on their journeys. My educational background consisted of a Bachelors degree from University of Akron and a Masters degree from Grand Canyon University. I utilize a holistic individualized approach to therapy, seeking to understand all aspects of a person’s identity and lifestyle to best tailor our work together. I incorporate various techniques from interpersonal, psychodynamic, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapies.
